Pine & Poppy began with a love of making things by hand and a belief that the most meaningful traditions are often the ones we create ourselves.

For years I designed custom pieces for families across the country. Then everything changed after a trip to a little yarn shop in Half Moon Bay, California.

I discovered a yarn that completely changed the way I wanted to create. Rich textures. Extraordinary colors. Small-batch fibers that felt like works of art.

Instead of making the same stocking over and over, I wanted every piece to be one of a kind.

Today, every stocking and every hat is hand knit in small batches using carefully chosen luxury yarns. Some become timeless Signature Collection pieces, while others remain one-of-a-kind creations.

My hope is simple: that these become part of your family’s traditions, hanging on your mantel, worn on winter adventures, photographed year after year, and eventually passed down to the next generation.

Because the best heirlooms aren’t the oldest ones.
